Excellent mission statement. Proposal describes diverse, innovative exhibitions and programs with clear goals, objectives, evaluation tools, measures. Outreach programs ensure service to community during renovations for new entrance and improved exhibition galleries. Museum has completed MAP reviews and is preparing to apply for AAM accreditation. Fiscal stability is good; sustainability seems to be assured. Building endowments is a worthy goal and will help to ensure fiscal health going forward. Letters show strong support from community leaders and educators.

Dunedin Museum, Inc. (DM) is requesting general program support to increase community awareness and visitation, provide educational programming, and improve operations to achieve accreditation. Currently, DM offers a wide variety of programs and exhibitions at the Dunedin Historical Museum, Andrews Memorial Chapel, and through outreach activities in their community.  While under renovation, DM would like support to grow their community outreach, since their physical plant access will diminish, and support to be better prepared for accreditation goals.  The goals seem reasonable, focused and achievable.  The balance of the two exhibitions, both historical but one on woman and the other on tattooing is great outreach.  Focusing on new partnerships to provide more education outreach opportunities would seem ideal, but only current partnerships are listed.  The Timeline doesn't lead this reviewer to what new programs might be developed for greater outreach.  Is this proposal to simply to expand existing audience relationships?  Collections summary are complete and appropriate for this type of collecting institution. Again on Impact of this proposal, I think there was a missed opportunity to discuss how the impact of outreach while under renovation would have been helpful.  The objective to reach 15% more program offerings with the same partners.  Support though of all aspects of reaching accreditation is clear.  The renovation and marketing of the project and organization is good. No questions regarding budget or management - all sound, as are the accessibility documents and summaries.

Congratulations on your work towards applying for full AAM accreditation. It is a daunting project. You seem well on the way to improving your programming and outreach and to achieving the high standards of the AAM. Kudos on sensible ways of improving your visibility by something as simple as moving the entrance.
