This is a visual art fair with performance art, film, and gallery exhibitions. This wasn't clearly explained in the grant dialogue so I had to search for understanding, I eventually garnered the information from support materials. I also read later on that the event takes place in several locations in Miami. All of this could have been stated plainly. This is the 8th year they are doing this and they have a lot of partnerships and strong support. They also have a decent audience evaluation survey process and it would be good to know what they use the information for as well as whether they ask participating artists and volunteers survey questions too. Impressed that they have completed the Section 504 Self Evaluation Workbook and seem quite diligent about making sure all visitors (with or without special needs) have a fully engaged experience. |
