Provides exposure to artists perhaps not served well in other artistic venues across the county. The partnerships and collaborations are an indication of their ability to expand from the neighborhood to make a broader statement about Miami and its rich cultural diversity.

Clarification of operating budget would be helpful as well as need for more information on accessibility.

It is not clear how the impact numbers were decided upon especially school age students. It would have helped to have how impact numbers were decided upon, especially for school age children. This could have been explained in the optional "additional/impact participation numbers information" section or even in the marketing section. Note: Numerous typos which frustrated and slowed reading down but still a good application. The Timeline is odd and included quotes by DVCAi funded artists but it would have been clearer what the written content was about had their been a preface stating something along the lines "The following content includes responses from upcoming 2020-2021 funded artists" ... and then the grant writer could have placed their words in quotes.

Great organization with a long track record of fine art engagements across a number of ethnic groups and countries from Miami. I would love to see this organization do even more work with other parts of the state where there is not so much diversity and art of excellence from artists of color being shown or understood. |
